Hello World

Hey, I'm Eugene Carl — and this is my first blog post.

I built this website as a place to document what I'm working on and what I'm thinking about. The tagline I keep coming back to is building things I wish existed. That's really what drives me. I just have this obsessive personality where when i like something i give all of my attention to that.

I've been into tech since I was 9 years old. It started the way it does for a lot of people curiosity, breaking things oh i have broken alot of tech just because i was curious on how it works and also modifying them, figuring out how they work. But somewhere along the way it became more than a hobby. It became the lens through which I see almost everything.

I'm not just into tech, im also into shoes(running shoes) i love how competition brings innovation to a space, to fight for market share. Like how Intel and Nike were once at the top of their game but because they became complacent it allowed other brands to take market share and now they're both trying their best to keep up with their competitors who have surpassed them. I'm in the trenches with these things like reading benchmarks, watching reviews what it means for the next five years.

That kind of passion bleeds into everything I build. I care about the details. I care about why things are designed the way they are, not just how to use them.

This blog is where I'll be writing about what I'm building, what I'm learning, and what's catching my attention in the tech world. No particular schedule just when I have something worth saying.
